Chief of Staff

Maggie Leffel started at McClure Engineering in 2015 as a Project Coordinator. Part of her desire to work for us stemmed from our reputation for encouraging career growth and development. When Maggie discovered a passion for Project Management, she quickly learned that reputation was well earned. We encouraged Maggie to pursue her interest and gave her the tools to help her succeed and she eventually became a fully certified Project Manager.

After a short time away, Maggie came back to McClure Engineering in 2022 as our new Chief of Staff. In her new role, she is responsible for managing the execution of strategic initiatives involving organizational growth and development. She operates as an implementer of the goals and objectives established by the management team and ensures that the team maintains traction relative to those objectives, and ultimately, that actions turn into results. What encouraged her to return to our ranks? According to Maggie, “McClure Engineering has always been a place where I feel like I belong; and after learning about the Chief of Staff position, and having discussions about it with President Keith Esarey, I became very interested in the role itself and felt it would be a good fit for me.”

Maggie’s short time away was spent launching the business she started – Bud & Company: Inspired Dog Treats and Sweets. Its mission is to “introduce dogs to the local flavors that their humans have loved for years and years.” Among the treats you can bestow upon your furry companion are Gooey Butter Cake, Toasted Ravioli, and Pumpkin Apple Butter (a seasonal favorite)! Maybe she will bring in some samples for our next Bring Your Dog to Work day! (Nudge, Nudge, wink, wink). Check out those flavors and more at https://www.budandcompanytreats.com/

I really appreciate the Health & Wellness reimbursement that McClure Engineering gives to employees each year because having a fitness studio that I enjoy and can go to regularly is very important to me (probably more mentally than physically most days!)
