Adopt-A-Family 2025: McClure Engineering Employees Make a Difference

Celebrating Generosity and Community Spirit.

Every holiday season, McClure Engineering came together to participate in the annual Adopt-A-Family fundraiser, a heartwarming initiative dedicated to supporting families in need and spreading joy throughout our community.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our employees, we raised an impressive $4,550 to help brighten the holidays for a local family. Our team also collected and donated a wide variety of gifts, thoughtfully chosen for a 6-year-old boy, a 7-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy, a 13-year-old girl, and a 14-year-old boy.

Clothing Essentials

Our employees donated cozy clothing to keep the family warm and comfortable throughout the winter, including sweatpants, sweatshirts, graphic tees, fleece sweatshirts, sleep pants, leggings, pajamas, boxer briefs, and undershirts.

Accessories & Personal Care

Donations also featured Nike socks, bath & body spray, a jewelry box, necklace, bracelets, nail polish, makeup bags, a purse, and hairbows.

Toys & Games

No holiday would be complete without plenty of toys and games! The family received a basketball, a drone, LED gaming lights, a squishmallow, a Fisher Price Light and Sensory table, a Toy Story robot, a Kinetic Sand kit, Play-Doh sets and tools, Barbies, a baby doll, a craft bead jewelry kit, fidget toys, and a puzzle ensuring hours of creative play and laughter.

Books

Encouraging a love of reading, we included Judy Blume books, general young adult books, and a Barbie-themed coloring book for the young readers in the family.

Arts & Crafts

For creative expression, the family received crayons, construction paper, a marker set, and a squiggle pen—perfect for drawing, crafting, and imaginative fun.

Family & Household Items

To make their home even cozier, we provided a family game night basket stocked with popcorn, drinks, candy, and various games, as well as bedding sets for both king and queen-sized beds.

We are incredibly proud of our team’s compassion and community spirit. The Adopt-A-Family fundraiser is a reminder of the positive change we can make when we come together.
