Academic and Professional Journey

Keith’s story began at Missouri S&T, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1994. He continued his education with graduate studies in Engineering Management and led the Excel Program, a student initiative fostering collaboration among new students. Keith launched his career as a project engineer at McClure Engineering in 1995, focusing on advanced environmental control projects for specialized facilities. His commitment and expertise propelled him from project engineer to client principal in 2000, and ultimately to president in 2018.

Major Achievements

Keith’s induction into the Missouri S&T Academy of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers recognizes his professional achievements and his ongoing support for the university’s mission and values. This honor is reserved for alumni who exemplify excellence and leadership in their fields. In addition, being named one of St. Louis’ Most Admired Business Leaders highlights Keith’s reputation for generosity, vision, and his positive influence in the region’s business landscape.

Leadership as President

Keith’s leadership was especially evident during the onset of Covid-19. He guided McClure Engineering through two years of remote work, navigating the challenges with resilience and adaptability. Under his direction, the company continued to expand, taking on larger and more complex projects, growing our team with top talent, and increasing our presence within our historic office building, Cupples 1, purchased in 2017. Keith’s steady hand ensured that McClure Engineering didn’t just weather the storm, but emerged stronger than ever.
