McClure Engineering Celebrates Three 2026 IES St. Louis Illumination Awards
Two local renovation projects earn recognition for excellence in lighting design.

McClure Engineering is proud to celebrate three section awards at the 2026 IES St. Louis Illumination Awards. The honors recognize lighting design work on two local projects: the Nestlé Tower Lobby Renovation and the Kirkwood Community Center Renovation.
Nestlé Tower Lobby Renovation
We are honored to celebrate alongside our partners at Nehring Design, LLC, whose interior and exterior lighting design for the Nestlé Tower Lobby earned 2026 IES St. Louis Illumination Section Awards.
Presented by the IES St. Louis Chapter, the Illumination Awards recognize lighting design that enhances the built environment through creativity, functionality, and visual impact.
Nehring Design’s creativity and expertise shaped the lighting vision for these award-winning spaces. McClure Engineering supported the team through implementation and coordination, helping bring that vision to life.
We congratulate Nehring Design and thank our clients and project partners for their collaboration. This recognition reflects the strength of shared ideas, careful coordination, and a collective commitment to outstanding project outcomes.
Kirkwood Community Center Renovation
McClure Engineering also received a 2026 IES St. Louis Illumination Section Award for the interior lighting design of the Kirkwood Community Center.
The renovation brought together a multidisciplinary team, including CannonDesign (previously Christner) for architecture and interior design, and Navigate as the owner’s representative and project manager. At Christner, the late Michael Browning helped shape the exterior aesthetic, while architect Lalima Chemjong focused on the interiors and contributed to the initial lighting concepts. McClure Engineering lighting designer Kayla Januska then developed those concepts into the completed lighting design.
Celebrating Collaboration
These awards celebrate more than strong lighting design. They reflect the trust, creativity, and coordination that turn an ambitious vision into a meaningful experience for the people who use each space. We are grateful to every client and project partner who contributed to these award-winning renovations.
