PIE Day 2026: The Final Pieing

That is an additional $870 for CHADS Coalition for Mental Health, bringing our PIE Day total to $6,580.

As a recap, for PIE Day, McClure Engineering hosted a live auction, giving participants the chance to bid for the honor of pieing daring volunteers, all in the name of charity! Our PIE Day efforts raised a whopping $5,710. But that was just the beginning.

As is usually the case, some of our intrepid volunteers found themselves stuck in meetings or on job sites at the time of their scheduled pieing. This was most unfortunate, and highly suspect to be honest. But never fear! We at McClure Engineering are all about the health and wellness of our team, and a huge part of our own mental health depends on certain people getting pied for charity. So, it was only natural that we would reschedule the festivities for these certain, hard-working individuals.

And what better day than Cardinals Opening Day? The sky was blue and the weather was unusually warm, so we hosted the pieing in our favorite spot, The Penthouse! Pies were thrown (and consumed), and an additional $870 was raised for CHADS Coalition for Mental Health, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing depression and suicide by providing evidence-based counseling, education, and support for youth, families, and communities.

All in all, another success to add to the long legacy of PIE Day fundraising.
