Celebrating Women at McClure Engineering

Highlights from Our Most Vibrant Women’s Lunch Yet.

The women of McClure Engineering recently gathered for our most lively Women’s Lunch to date making it a true celebration of connection, talent, and empowerment. The event featured a delicious meal from Apple Spice, a woman-owned eatery, adding a meaningful touch to the day. Talent Experience Manager Ashley Senters curated an uplifting spring collage showcasing the women who inspire us, creating a visual testament to role models and mentors within our community. As a thoughtful gesture, Ashley also distributed Women’s History Month cards paired with colorful hair ties, extending appreciation and a splash of fun to everyone in attendance.

As the lunch came to a close, Ashley introduced an exciting new initiative: the Women’s Lean In Circle. These small, peer-led groups are designed to foster both personal and professional growth among McClure Engineering’s women. By blending leadership training and community support, Lean In Circles provide opportunities for our team members to develop new skills, share experiences, and pursue their ambitions collectively. This initiative is just one of the many ways McClure Engineering is dedicated to nurturing the success and well-being of women in the workplace.

The outlook for women in engineering is increasingly bright. While women made up only about 5% of engineers in the HVAC industry in 2025, that number is on a steady upward trend. At McClure Engineering, we are proud to empower our women with resources, mentorship, and encouragement to help them thrive and achieve their goals. By fostering a culture of inclusion and proactive support, we are bridging the gap and inspiring a new generation of female engineers to lead the way forward.

With initiatives like Lean In Circles and community-driven events, McClure Engineering continues to champion women’s advancement, making every lunch, conversation, and collaboration count. Here’s to the women who inspire us and to those who will lead us into a brighter, more equitable future.
