Earth Day Beautification at Ranken Jordan

McClure Engineering lends a hand at Ranken Jordan to help the staff with the Spring cleaning of their outdoor sanctuary for their young patients.

Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital is a special place for kids who need extra care during the time spent between the hospital and home. They have an amazing outdoor play area with lots of fun and therapeutic activities for the children to explore. Along the paths, there are sensory gardens, natural beauty, and even a sound room full of giant musical instruments. The kids can also enjoy a turf baseball field, a six-hole putting green, a merry-go-round that fits wheelchairs, a basketball hoop, swings, and a nurse’s station under a butterfly canopy that can provide care while they play.

Keeping such a wonderful space clean and safe is not easy, so McClure Engineering volunteers assisted the incredible staff at Ranken Jordan with some outdoor Spring cleaning. In groups, our volunteers cleaned the outdoor playground equipment, patio seating, and exterior windows. Additionally, they helped pick up trash/litter on the side of the highway surrounding the premises.

Our team at McClure Engineering always finds immense joy and fulfillment in dedicating their time to volunteering at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital. The impact we can create together truly resonates with us. We cherish every moment spent there, knowing that even the smallest gestures can bring smiles and hope to those in need.
