ASHRAE St. Louis Technology Awards 2025
Celebrating Excellence in Innovative, Energy-Efficient Design.

McClure Engineering is pleased to announce that we have won two 2025 Technology Awards from the St. Louis Chapter of ASHRAE.
The ASHRAE Technology Awards recognize projects that exemplify innovative, energy-efficient, and environmentally conscious design principles. Previous notable successes include Washington University in St. Louis’s Wilson Hall Chiller Replacement, The MUNY Stage Tower Replacement, and the Saint Louis Art Museum’s East Wing AHU Replacement.
With this year’s achievements, McClure Engineering has secured a total of 10 wins over the past decade. The awards received this year are as follows:
The New Manufacturing Protoplex received recognition in the “New Educational Buildings” category. This project involved the design and construction of an advanced manufacturing innovation facility for the Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri.
The Mark C. Steinberg Memorial Skating Rink received recognition in the “Existing Commercial Buildings” category. This project entailed the renovation and expansion of a historic ice rink facility for Forest Park Forever in St. Louis, Missouri.
