We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in our July Blood Drive. Thanks to your generosity, we collected 19 units of blood which is enough to potentially save up to 57 lives. Each donation is more than just a number; it represents hope and healing for those in critical need.

For the past 11 years, McClure Engineering has proudly partnered with the American Red Cross to host blood drives. We deeply appreciate all who continue to show up time and again, as well as our five first-time donors who took the step to give for the first time. A heartfelt shout-out goes to our 11 Type O donors, whose blood is especially vital for trauma patients and emergencies.

Blood donations have direct and life-changing benefits for a wide range of patients. Cancer patients often rely on transfusions to recover and stay strong throughout their treatments. Victims of car accidents and other emergencies may need immediate transfusions, and in these moments, universal Type O blood is especially critical. Individuals living with sickle cell disease frequently require regular blood transfusions to manage their condition and maintain a better quality of life. For people who have suffered severe burns, blood transfusions are crucial as they heal and rebuild their strength. Those facing chronic illnesses, such as kidney disease, depend on transfusions as an essential part of their ongoing care.

Every donor receives a free mini health screening that checks your blood pressure, pulse, hemoglobin levels, and overall well-being. This simple checkup is a great way to keep track of your health while making a real difference in your community.
