PIE Day at McClure Engineering: A Sweet Success!

A Slice of Generosity: $4,510 raised for St. Patrick’s Center.

McClure Engineering recently hosted another remarkable PIE Day, and this year, we truly outdid ourselves! Our journey began at the end of February, as we set an ambitious goal of raising $1,000 through donations. The stakes were high – for every milestone reached, a designated member from leadership would receive a pie to the face.

By the time we concluded our initial fundraising drive, we had raised an impressive $1,935. This ensured that every person on the designated list would be pied! But the fun was just beginning.

On the day of the event, excitement filled the air. To add to the festivities, we held a live auction where participants could bid for the chance to pie our brave volunteers. This thrilling auction brought in an additional $2,575, bringing our grand total to a staggering $4,510. All proceeds from the event will be donated to St. Patrick Center, an organization dedicated to transforming lives by creating a community where everyone has access to sustainable housing, employment, and healthcare.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who participated, donated, and especially to the courageous volunteers who took pies to the face for charity. PIE Day at McClure Engineering not only showcased our team spirit but also our commitment to giving back to the community.
