Holiday Spirit Soars at McClure Engineering!

A Festive Recap of Our 2025 Celebrations.

This year’s holiday festivities at McClure Engineering were anything but ordinary. A little competitive spirit and plenty of holiday cheer set the stage. The fun began when Shaun Brooks issued a friendly challenge, announcing that the Electrical Department had gone all out with their Christmas décor. The rest of the office, of course, could not resist rising to the occasion. With plans drawn up in record time, elves on the shelves watched eagerly as the magic unfolded around the office.

While no one claimed the title of “winner” in our decorating contest, one thing is certain: the SCAT team caught everyone’s attention with their show-stopping upside-down Christmas tree. This centerpiece was expertly suspended from the ceiling of the second floor, fully decorated and lit. The feat was made possible by Paul Taylor and his wife Lauren, who snuck in one Sunday and harnessed their knack for theatrical drama to create a truly memorable sight.

Other departments also brought plenty of holiday spirit. The third floor business operations team set up a festive pop-up bar, made complete by a dancing and singing Santa courtesy of Keyne Quiroga-Anania. Meanwhile, the fifth floor SCCAF group brightened their area with sparkling decorations and even wore matching shirts to show their enthusiasm and team spirit.

All of these dazzling decorations provided the perfect backdrop for our annual White Elephant Gift Exchange party on the nineteenth. We exchanged quirky gifts, enjoyed a delicious catered meal, and got into the holiday spirit before heading home to celebrate with loved ones.

The merriment had actually commenced on the thirteenth with our annual Christmas Party, held this year at The McPhearson in the Central West End. Everyone dressed in their finest for an evening filled with cocktails, wonderful food, and fond memories from a fantastic year together.

Our holiday celebrations this year truly reached new heights and offered the perfect way to bring 2025 to a close on a joyful note. Here’s to more fun, laughter, and togetherness in the year ahead.
