2024 Company Picnic
A Day of Fun, Food, and Friendly Competition at McClure Engineering’s Annual Family Picnic.
McClure Engineering takes immense pride in our company culture. When the initial COVID-19 lockdown hit, we had to pivot drastically, turning to virtual gatherings during our nearly two years of remote work. But once restrictions eased, our Volunteer Activity Committee (VAC) sprung into action, brainstorming innovative and thrilling ways to rekindle our in-person camaraderie. One of their earliest initiatives was an annual Company Picnic, which has only grown more spectacular each year, with this year’s edition being no exception.
Despite the scorching heat, McClure Engineering’s annual family picnic at Creve Coeur Memorial Park was an absolute blast. While the kids were having a ball in the Bounce House (we admit a hint of jealousy), the adults found excitement in the Cornhole Tournament. Josh Rasch and Jeremy Underwood clinched first place, followed by Matt Costantinou and Seth McDuffie, with John Wade and Kelsey Pfeil securing third.
Of course, no McClure Engineering event is complete without a culinary contest! Anuj Bhargava, one of our former Chili Champions, added yet another trophy to his collection with his mouthwatering Bacon Wrapped Chicken Lollypops. Float Trip Chef Extraordinaire Nick Allen earned second place with his delicious Beef Satay and Pork Satay accompanied by Peanut Dipping Sauce. Third place went to Cornhole Silver Medalist Matt Costantinou, who won us over with his succulent Pulled Pork Sliders topped with Pineapple Jalapeno Salsa.
A heartfelt thanks to the VAC for orchestrating yet another outstanding family picnic!
