National Bring Your Dog to Work Day
Promoting workplace engagement and well-being through a day of fun and frivolity with our furry friends.

National Bring Your Dog to Work Day (BYDTWD) on June 20th was a resounding success at McClure Engineering, and it beautifully showcased our core value of community.
This eagerly anticipated day brings more than just wagging tails and puppy eyes to our office—it brings people together. Our furry supervisors roam the halls, assisting with “important” tasks like fetching print jobs, scheduling (nap) meetings, and making sure no treat goes uneaten. Their playful presence sparks countless smiles and conversations, making our workplace feel even more connected.
For our first BYDTWD of the summer (with three more to come!), every pup received a special goodie bag filled with tennis balls, chew rope toys, and poop bag dispensers. At lunchtime, we all gathered for a lively walk, giving the dogs—and their humans—a chance to socialize, share stories, and strengthen bonds across teams.
To top it off, Chief of Staff Maggie Leffel delighted everyone by bringing in her handmade dog treats, crafted with local flavors like Gooey Butter Cake and Toasted Ravioli. Baked with human-grade ingredients and a whole lot of care, Maggie’s treats were a huge hit, and her generosity truly embodied what it means to build community at McClure Engineering.
At McClure Engineering, we believe that community isn’t just about the work we do—it’s about the connections we nurture, the moments we share, and the joy we bring to one another, both two- and four-legged. National Bring Your Dog to Work Day is more than an event; it’s a celebration of the spirit that unites us all.
