Utility Survey & Master Planning
The Principia – Town & Country, Missouri
Project Background
This project consisted of a detailed engineering survey, evaluation, and master planning effort for the general mechanical utility and 4160V Medium Voltage infrastructure systems at The Principia campus in Town and Country, MO including a preliminary short circuit and coordination study.
Project Deliverables
The overall study included an extensive survey of the existing campus utility infrastructure (physically/visually and via existing documents) to provide reliable documentation as to the routings of these systems. This survey was intended to be used as a tool to aid response in the event of a system component failure. A master plan was developed to address the anticipated replacement/upgrade of these systems to address system deficiencies, and operational limitations and meet the long-term needs of the campus. This master plan also involved the development of planned projects consisting of scope summaries and cost opinions to permit long-term planning and budgeting.
