Organic Lab Renovation
Confidential Client – St. Louis, Missouri
Project Background
This project consisted of the renovation of the north half of the fourth floor of a research facility to support the creation of a new Organic Lab on the campus of a Confidential Pharmaceutical Client.
Project Deliverables
The total affected area was roughly 10,000 sq. ft. McClure Engineering provided the engineering systems design for the facility including drawings and specifications for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing portions of the work within the building. These systems included HVAC, domestic water, general electrical power and lighting, and wet sprinkler fire protection, as well as low-voltage support systems (fire alarm, tele-data, and intercom). To determine the utility requirements before the start of the project, our team conducted a field survey, researched existing literature, and contacted manufacturers to determine the utility needs for the various proposed pieces of equipment.
